I remembered seeing my Dad’s collection of business cards which, oddly enough, looked similar in size and style as if it were a patent that every business card had to have a uniformed format.

At first, I felt as if I was looking at a single company with merely different entities and departments of specialization, ideally, there is a business format in terms of its size, but that doesn’t mean you’re limited in terms of design and function that’s what I thought when I stumbled into a few eye-opening sites about modernizing the traditional, renewing the old and finding new ways to make you and your company stand-out.Now, In no way am I making fun of the traditional business cards because some of them have gone a long way into success. I am simply implying the fact that there are new methods, these days, in making a dull looking piece of cardboard paper come to life.

Again… The typhoon season has arrived.

Amazingly, it never was a favorite season of mine because everything seemed pretty much dreary and bleak and, well, sometimes it can render various emotions mostly “EMO” like. Somehow, with weather like this, I find myself lazy and in a mode of reminiscing all the “might have been’s.” Strange enough, I’m a person who defies regrets and makes the most out of what I can manage.

But I guess, life has a way of reflecting some paths you’ve failed to cross or haven’t seen.

But puddles, in the rainy weather,

Glisten like a peacock’s feather.

A peacock’s feather…

it’s such a colorful interpretation for the reflections of light and color seen in puddles

which lead me into finding an apt image to describe the end of the poem.

I believe in visual impact — to enhance a feeling or translate something difficult to explain besides, in this “DIGITIZED” age,

media seems to be highly Indispensable so what better way to define things, right?

Most people love the rain and think of it as means of cleansing, similar to how others perceive that kind of weather as starting anew (that depends actually if it will be sunny the next day – like breaking up and finding closure ^^). The rain, somehow, is like saying goodbye to loneliness and welcoming something new… supposedly that’s how it’s supposed to turn out. How I wish I felt that way instead of having a self-inflicted emotional downpours whenever it starts to rain from dusk till dawn.

The song is in Korean (and I’m disappointed that I cannot translate the lyrics) I’m still glad that most of the song had English parts which I am tremendously grateful for, because it let’s me at least understand the story or message behind it.

For some time now, this song has always relaxed me and somehow reminded me of the the film of Penelope Cruz, “Woman on Top” (that was the first time I found out about her, though, at first I thought she was of Latin origin only to find out that she came from Spain) and yet the movie’s soundtrack gave off the relaxing bossa nova trademarked from Brazil.

The film features Penelope Cruz (Isabella Oliveira – a master chef with motion sickness who leaves for America after finding her husband cheating on her), Murilio Benicio (Tonino – her husband who feels his masculinity is threatened by his wife’s need for control), Mark Feuerstein (Cliff – the “mr. nice guy” TV producer who is smitten by Isabella), and Harold Perrineau Jr. (Monica – the friend you can count on, except has turned into a drag queen).

The movie is a combination of myth ( the involvement of cultural folklore) and reality. To put simply, it’s a fun movie, sumptuous and seductive in its own right.
